Certain civilians love MREs. Actual troops? Meh.

Probably one of those MREs left out in the sun too long.

A cargo ship I drew for some reason. Probably full of MREs.

The sled? It was packed f...

I love having hound dogs. They're such good doggos!

Less fun was my old supervisor at work. This is pretty much her.

They hire people like that and then wonder why some people go on an ....OFFICE RAMPAGE!

The sound quality on this didn't turn out well-- it is faint so turn up the volume, and it starts "skipping" after a bit-- not sure why. So much for my fancy new Rode microphone, eh?
Anyhow, here it is, flawed though it be.

Derpy doodles? Sounds like a '50's sitcom.
Below: This wasn't a 50's sitcom! There was an episode of South Park about a gerbil named "Lemmiwinks" that got put in someone's butt... it came up in conversation and I made this totally inappropriate doodle.

...apparently there was a rumor that the famous actor Richard Gere went to the hospital one day after this happened, although there ...

Howdy, I'm a cowboy! Yeehaw! Been playing any Read Dead Redemption?

Awww, man, now some idiot's drawing lizard people ladies with boobs again. Why do people always do this?

Someone in earshot of me was talking about religion, and so I was thinking about "God & stuff".
Until later!...

A Staff position is frequently referred to as a "slot"-- an opening for a job is a slot, and you fill that slot to make the overall piece whole. It kind of alludes to how soldiers are expected to be able to fill in any job with the right amount of training... call it "a cog in the machine" or "plug-n-play" or whatnot. Juni has taken "the S-2 slot" so Joe stops by to see how she's doing with her new job.
There are sometimes families serving together in Reserve and Guard units-- parents a...

Where does the thermometer go..? My dog hates going to the vet. Even though the hiney thermometer hasn't been used in years, and it is now the ear-sensor, he still gets wiggly and tries to Just Say No.

Um, well, Hello There.

We've all had that feeling, I'm sure.

The Army runs on bureaucracy, they say... but the truth is, any large organization loves to immerse itself in bureaucracy. It just seems that the Army bathes in it up to its neck.
I can't count the number of times I have found an old field manual or technical manual tucked away in some forgotten closet or office. In fact, I've found whole libraries of old manuals tucked away, outdated, long since surpassed by more recent editions, but saved anyway.
Some of it may...

Ever just show up and suddenly find out you're in charge?
So, I've mentioned "Staff" before, and the "S-shops". To reiterate, Staff office 1, or S-1, is the "personnel" section. Staff section 2, or "S-2", is "Intelligence". S-3 is "Operations", S-4 is "supply", and S-6 is "communications".
(What about S-5? It usually doesn't exist, unless you need a military/civilian liaison office in a foreign host country).
Juni went to Intelligence school and changed her...

Some helmet and alien head studies, and an angry dude. Grrr!

This was fan art for a webcomic series called "Selkie", which is about a Selkie of the Great Lakes that ends up getting adopted by a human father. It deals a lot with adoptee "identity seeking" issues which I relate to, as an adoptee myself.
Here's the beginning if you're interest...

I'm working on a concept centered on "What if BOHICA Blues has been drawn by Rob Liefield?"
Rob Liefield was a very famous 1990's comics artist (in fact, he came up with Deadpool) who was know for way, way, waaaaaayyy over-the-top drawing of people with facial features stuck in permanent grimace, too many teeth, muscular physiques that couldn't exist in nature, over-rendered line art (especially on faces) and pouches everywhere.

Never too late for Halloween, or disembodied heads!
I have a weird feeling I may have posted these before, a long long time ago? There's something familiar about them. But I found them in a folder that clearly had a section marked "this part has been Patreon'd" and "this part has not". Maybe I scanned them but never used them?
Anyhow, it has probably been awhile regardless, so I hope folks enjoy them.
