'Allo folks!

Summer's over and I'm back from my vacation. Hope you all got some sunshine and rest too. It's been a long spring for me with some unexpected daytime job stress issues, so this summer vacation was seriously needed. The big problems have been resolved, but I do have some very real recovery to get through.

I'll have to be a bit careful with my health during the autumn, and put a bit of extra effort on getting back into gear for latex dorking. There's both the physical bit of getting back into shape for the suits, and the mental bit of keeping the stress levels healthy.

For the latter bit I'm going to take things sequentially in the near-term (Q3Q4?) and crunch a few lagging things all the way to done, one at a time. A bit of focused work to clear the backlog while helping the grander suit project at an overall level.

  1) Black hood restocking. Gets some resupply funding in, and also lets me practice the casts and work on improving the molds. Managed to mostly hit my goals with this in the late summer, just the Lw-molds (both elf & human) that are giving me trouble still. Pics attached, and have a look at suitworks.se ey? I'll consider this done as soon as I've fixed the above mentioned molds.

  2) Patreon drops. The spring's been rough, so the patreon drop's waaay delayed. As soon as I've crunched the black hood casts and gotten all the molds functional, I'll move on and crunch this until completed. Feeling guilty over the slowness :(

  3) A batch of skintone/painted/decorated hoods for the store. Project funding and a more practice for both casting and color-work/design ahead of the big suits. It'd do wonders for the overall confidence and supply situation to have the production line for these functional.

  4) New suit rig. The big stuff. There's still a bit of engineering work to do before the first trial cast, and considering the complexity of the project I want to clean the backlog and shore up supplies before I hit the "stuff can go wrong"-parts of it. 200L of liquid latex and a home-built pumping system, yeah... But it should be worth it!

Once we're past these steps we'll get back to the wider scope of the backlog again and plan a roadmap again. I won't jinx my still somewhat injured stress-o-meter by estimating dates on things just yet, but y'all can guess how keen I am on getting the new suits made. Won't drag things out if I can help it.

Next update in a month. Stay safe until then folks, and again - thank you all for the support. Means the world to me.
