I tried to stay true to aspects of the original design-- namely the outfit, curly hair, and shortstack body type-- while putting my own spin on them, while staying within the proposed "rougher" aesthetic that my client was hoping for. I was asked to make her human while retaining the albino raccoon features, so I proposed the idea of making her a leucistic raccoon girl with vitiligo imitating the markings of a raccoon. I tried to give her a sort of grungey style as well that echoed Galatea's design while still being her own character, and I'm pretty happy with the result. I simply can't wait to see what they end up doing with her!!
