Aspect Levels - Phase 1 of 2 complete.
Added 2019-07-14 11:30:08 +0000 UTC Aspect levels are partially integrated... they are functioning as intended, but as yet cannot be earned/raised.
The next phase is working in the reward system for aspect points, including unallocated points that can be spent later to raise the aspect of your choice. And, setting aside a smidge of space in the UI to show your Aspect Levels.
Aspects are unaffected by the Difficulty setting, and they raise your base-level and provide a stat modifier. As such, and given your Transversal Aspect begins at level 1 (thus making all aspects level 1), you will see a +5 to the levels of all characters/NPCs. So, even at the harshest of difficulties, you'll be no less than level 5.
the Primal, Astral, and Ethereal are the 3 aspects of Self (Physical, Mental, Spiritual), the Somnial or "Dream" aspect represents everything beyond the Self, and the Transversal or "Awakened" aspect represents the Unity in all things, erasing the boundary between Self and Other.
Existentialism aside, this gives us the means to specialize characters and abilities to be Physical, Mental, Spiritual, or Environmental in nature.
