Wow I didn't know that about Michael Grant! Once it was revealed that it was David that was molested, it did give some sort of backstory to his toxic masculinity and I could believe that his molestation had a hand in that. I did like this book, although they got a lot of the Irish Mythology wrong. Also I remember them mentioning corned beef and cabbage, lol I think that's an American Irish thing because we don't eat that shit.
