How I build and edit seamless scenes for Matt’s new short film

In it, he works with adults with special needs to teach them all aspects of filmmaking. Matt will be sharing more about that soon, but for now, I’d love to take you through my editing process — how I approach scenes, use coverage, and layer overlays to make moments feel more seamless and impactful. Sometimes, all it takes is a look, a blink, or a small glance to complete a scene in the most powerful way possible. That’s one of the things I love most about editing.
