2025-12-12 04:55:43 +0000 UTCWith you. That is worse than a rat, that is pure poison in human form.

2025-11-14 14:43:45 +0000 UTCI was willing to feel some small amount of pity for her, since she WAS dying. I imagine few people would truly have the self control and strength of mind to be able to let themselves die if they had a way to prevent it, even at the cost of someone else's life. But after that condescending little speech as she hid behind her benefactor, thinking she was safe? Nah. That nasty little rat needs to die.

2025-11-14 04:06:21 +0000 UTCIf they were to kick her oit of their group, would she then be stuck until she moved to another floor and got killed or stayed until the floor respawned and got killed? Would be fitting

2025-11-14 02:43:44 +0000 UTCFollowing up to say I like the idea of some kind of karmic or dao shattering consequences to her decisions. Also definitely want information extraction on that formation knowledge.

2025-11-14 02:23:55 +0000 UTCI think leaving her to her own devices is a little unsatisfying. Insta death is what I would do but not Ke Yin.

2025-11-14 02:19:34 +0000 UTCIf he doesn't kill her he might just leave her to face the rest of the trial alone.

2025-11-13 22:46:04 +0000 UTC"Fate worst then death" is the awnser a lot of people would have in Ke Yin's situation but the man himself has stated several times wanting to keep his humanity and not become cold like other cultivators. If he does end up going through with something like that it would go against what the character himself values. Him considering it and choosing against it would be a great way to reinforce that and at the same time show how he himself isn't perfect. But actually doing something like that would go against what we know about Ke Yin

2025-11-13 22:43:57 +0000 UTCIn this case it's not really in cold blood. Ke Yin is very angry and for a damn good reason. If he kills her it's going to be quick and *mostly* painless. Can't risk her using her ability on Xie who so far has shown to be trustworthy

2025-11-13 22:37:33 +0000 UTCIf they end up doing that it would either be Wu's idea or Xie suggesting it. Ke Yin himself has shown time and time again that while he understand the Cultivation world way of things he doesn't want to treat people like objects (outside of when absolutely nescecery) And even then Wu has always shown to be kind of a loner so I'm a situation like this I can't imagine him willingly keeping someone who has proven to be untrustworthy and a hypocrite alongside them

2025-11-13 22:34:23 +0000 UTCI’m not surprised Xie jumped ship like that. There’s a reason why people who betray their groups find themselves without a lot of friends, because those same friends will now have a very valid reason to think they might be next on the chopping block too.

2025-11-13 22:33:33 +0000 UTCSomething that shows a realization for both her and the people watching that you don’t betray your allies. Really, something that shows biblical punishment or western “ironic” punishment. Break the minds of everyone watching by changing how they think punishments are. Basically, go for breaking her morality system or “Dao” or whatever you call it. Like how “Buddhists” do in other Cultivation novels, but you’re not trying to convert her to “your faith”. Really, I’m tired of seeing Xianxia go “and he killed her while she still thought of herself as righteous”. Just do some Fae shit, man.

2025-11-13 22:31:56 +0000 UTCObviously what else could he do?
harkange 585
2025-11-13 22:30:43 +0000 UTCKe Yin is very angry right now (justified in this context) but he's never shown to be particularly cruel. What would make the most sense would be for him to either give her a quick death (quick because he has no way of knowing how often she can transfer her injuries) or leave her to face the trial/her actions alone. The only way I can imagine him doing anything else is maybe if he lets his anger get the better of him and is about to do something wrong and either Azure or Wu step in and stop him from doing it.

2025-11-13 22:30:18 +0000 UTCLeave her to her fate so to speak. Neither ke yin nor wu need her and they don’t need more death on their consciences. She can find out on her own time how wrong what she did was when no one stands next to her

2025-11-13 22:04:07 +0000 UTCAs much as want her to die, she is an insane asset, considering tjat she can kill 3 lucid lawbearers and not die instantly. That combined with two guys who are straight up immortal would allow her to spam that ability with virtually no repercussions

2025-11-13 21:56:35 +0000 UTCI kinda want to see the golden rule of all interaction, and why it exists in the first place, explained to her. But I'm not sure this story is philosophically inclined enough to go that route. "Do to others as you want others to do to you." for you never know what they, or those connected to them, might do in the future motivated by what you did to them.

2025-11-13 21:52:29 +0000 UTCPersonally, I think he should ask Wu for advice on what to do. Have their relationship built on a foundation of mutual respect and cooperation, where they know that the other will have their backs, and won't act out of their own interests. (Which is rare in the cultivation world.)

2025-11-13 21:44:58 +0000 UTCMy heart wants murder, but I’m not sure if Ke Yin is capable of it. It’s difficult to kill someone in cold blood, but I doubt she’ll change even if he spares her, she might be scared for a while, but once he leaves the realm she’ll turn right back around. (Then again, crippling her might be worse than death.)
Raine
2025-11-13 21:35:05 +0000 UTCShe literally tried to murder him and thinks she's in the right. She'd gladly do it again. If he's not going to kill her (and I understand the argument that he should) he better at least red-sun her in to a perma-mortal and dump her somewhere dangerous on her own. Awful person.

2025-11-13 21:20:17 +0000 UTCInterrogate to get the run down on what's going on with her and the 2 lawbringers. Maybe she'll die, but Ke Yin won't kill her
Thomas Todd
2025-11-13 21:12:54 +0000 UTCI'm kinda for murder. She tried to kill him, she can't be trusted and worst of all she is a hypocrite. Even if he would show her mercy, she would only betray him again. Ke Yin isn't the ruthless kind, but he has read enough literature to know what the pragmatic decision is and our boy isn't indecisive

2025-11-13 21:09:11 +0000 UTCThe two powerhouses should die, but the girl? Ke yin should spare her. She should get out of this with her hide intact, and her psyche burdened with heart demons and shame. Lots and lots of shame
