I thought of it as him being a former jock and taking comfort from th letterman jacket but because of budget, they just had it blank lol. He even says after Zoe says everyone knew, "I didn't know.☹️" He was my fav character outside of Gosling and Mrs. Greggerson.

It's one of those thriller/horror movies that was unintentionally bad, but oddly enough a good number of the cast ended up moving on to do some pretty recognizable projects (Sebastian Stan for example). If you go into it expecting to make fun of it, then you'll probably have fun.
