There's a German language website called schnittberichte.com - these guys are doing stuff like that in written form for almost two decades. 10 years ago they launched an English language version of the site. I used to translate some stuff from German to English for them back in the day. You can find it here: www.movie-censorship.com - maybe this'll be helpful for future projects. Most of the translaters are native German speakers and only speak English as a second language (like me), so cut them some slack on the grammar, please :)

I know it looks different/better, but was it like a filter or something? Or do the colors just change overall? I've always been curious about movie coloring and this was the first time someone mentioned it directly.

2018-09-30 06:50:21 +0000 UTCPersonally, I like the cooler temperature from the Producers cut. When I think of horror, (especially fall in a mid western town) I dont think of a bright summer day. (Unless it fits the setting, like in Tremors and The Hills Have Eyes)

2018-09-30 05:04:41 +0000 UTCI swear that there was an extended scene from what would be the theatrical cut, that showed more gore in the "doctor getting his head shoved through the bars" part. As in, I remember his head bouncing off the ground or something.
