And not like Hereditary. There it was clear to us that they were being fucked with, even if they didn’t know. In this one we’re being gaslit and riled up for 90 minutes, just like the main character, then the bad guys just kill them all and get away with it. A hint of possible consequences isn’t enough.

Like the ending was good and how everything kind of tied in but I was about an hour in and just wanting it to be over. Also how did they go with the murder suicide route when Malik was in jail? Like clearly he wasn’t there to do the killing. Anyway, great theme imo just needed a bit more substance the first hour.
