This and Super Mario Bros both have fantastic production value and clearly have a lot of thought put into them, basically the opposite of what we often think of video game movies now. Lookin' at you, Uwe Boll... Hell looking at you Paul W. S. Anderson! What the HELL did the Resident Evil series do to you to turn it from a combination survival horror and conspiracy thriller (and bioterrorism) saga into a mediocre series of action movies only vaguely connected to the games?
