Further Adjustments to Dead Meat Patreon Tiers

Hi patrons! As you hopefully already know, this month we began implementing changes to our Patreon tiers. These changes were substantial and we got a lot of helpful feedback about them - thank you for all your thoughts! We've decided to adjust the previously-announced changes, and hope these adjustments are more to your liking. Please bear with us as we try to figure out the best structure for this whole thing.

Changes beginning October 2023:

• The "Chelsea and James Hangout Podcast" reward is being moved from the $20 Platinum Poltergeist tier down to the $5 Silver Slashers tier, joining the early Kill Count release perk as well as the commentary track reward.
• The "James hangout or play games or watch movies" livestream reward is moving from the $50 Diamond Demons tier down to the $20 Platinum Poltergeists tier.

In addition to the movement of those two rewards, we're adding two NEW rewards to the $50 Diamond Demons tier:

• A 20% discount at DeadMeatStore.com
• A 1 time personalized video from me (James) that’s under a minute, where I talk about whatever you request me to (within reason / up to my discretion, of course). Want me to wish someone a happy birthday? Say hi to your dog? Answer a question? I'll do it, in 60 seconds or less! PLEASE NOTE: Each $50 patron gets 1 total video, regardless of how long they hold this tier status (not a recurring reward).

Also, as mentioned in our initial restructuring announcement, starting in October the $3 tier will be no more. If you are still in the $3 tier come October, you will automatically be placed into a “No Tier” status, where you’ll still be charged the $3 but won’t receive any rewards until you move into a new tier. We’ll be sending out reminders to everyone who becomes a No Tier patron once the change is in effect. Our goal is to make this as smooth a transition for everyone as possible.

$5: Silver Slashers

Commentary Track / Podcast Patreon Feed / Early Release

• Commentary Track: James and Chelsea record a monthly Commentary Track, sometimes with guests!
• Podcast Patreon Feed: Once a month, James and Chelsea will release an audio-only bonus podcast episode featuring content you can’t get on the main feed. The topic will be random and not necessarily horror-related.
• Early Release: Get early releases of the Kill Count when possible!

$10: Golden Ghouls

Team Stream / Pilot Testing

• Team Stream: Get to know the Dead Meat team with new Team hangout Streams. This can include James, Chelsea, Zoran, or one of the many other people that keep Dead Meat going behind the scenes!
• Pilot Testing: Every now and then, we want to try something new, and when we do we just might drop test footage, rough cuts, or trial episodes for patrons to give their thoughts on! How often this will happen isn’t guaranteed.

James Stream / Research Notes & Scripts / Voting on Commentary Track / Verbal Call Out in KC

• James Stream: Join James to either play a video game, watch a movie, or just hang out with the chat!
• Research Notes & Scripts: Get access to our research library and Kill Count Scripts!
• Voting on Commentary Track: Vote for which movie the month’s commentary track will cover, based on a list of options created by James and Chelsea.
• Verbal Call Out in KC: Get a verbal shout out at the end of one Kill Count! (Reward does not reset each month)

$50: Diamond Demons

1-Time Personalized Video / Merch Discount / Names in Kill Counts Credits

• 1-Time Personalized James Video: Once you are subscribed at this tier you get 1 personalized video from James that is under 1 min, where he talks about whatever you request within reason. (Reward does not reset each month)
• Merch Discount: Get a code for 20% off our merch at deadmeatstore.com
• Names in Kill Counts: Have your name be part of the scrolling list at the end of each Kill Count (Name listed as long as you’re subscribed at this tier during an episode's production)!
