Maybe I’m just sooo used to movies ripping off the first film that the third one seems unique and more interesting to me, but I think it’s a combo of 1. I love horror movies that are crime procedurals 2. Brad Dourif Oscar when?? 3. I think the “dream” sequences are neat.
