While this movie obviously has a lot to do with animal exploitation, I think it also has a lot to say about our relationship as consumers with the art we consume. At some point in the movie someone refers to Jean Jacket as either the Watcher or the Viewer (can't remember which) and I think it's telling. OJ also knows not to look a predator in the eyes, hence why he doesn't want to look any of the Hollywood people in the eyes - Hollywood is predatory as all fuck and exploits not just animals but children, minorities, women, graphic designers, voice actors, all sorts. But we as the viewers bear at least some semblance of responsibility in this - most of us know just how predatory Hollywood is and how many lives it's ruined, but most don't care because we just want our Fast & Furious 27 or Marvel 94 to come out in a timely fashion. Our consumption in a way is like Jean Jacket in that we're not evil, we're not a villain, but we're an untameable animal that demands to be fed and consume with no thought and then spit out anything we don't like.
