2024-10-05 20:11:10 +0000 UTCRiq this is the last installment of the trollhunter series i just finished watching a lot of people hate this movie because the ending but i have a different opinion on it I not think it’s that bad if they could continue the new story of Toby being the trollhunter but they just left it at that which sucks but they were rumores of new trollhunter season by I don’t think there will be I loved this movie very high budget all my favorite characters was in it favorite villain still Angor rot though I liked wizards a lot better than this but it was still a 8.5-9 movie for me thanks for watching the entire trollhunter series one of the best series in the entire fiction this show is mythical level story writing for me W Riq

2024-05-19 07:47:54 +0000 UTCI don't mind the ending, the only thing I didn't like was Jim making it so Toby would be the Trollhunter. Not that I think he couldn't do it - he fought alongside Jim in the previous timeline - but because it feels so out of character for Jim. Jim knows the dangers he faced as the Trollhunter, all the times his life was threatened by Bular, Gunmar, Angor Rot, Morgana, and more; there is no way he would put that on Toby, especially since he went back in time to SAVE Toby's life. It would have been interesting to have a follow up movie - even a series - exploring the changes Jim made and how that ultimately impacted their face off against the Arcane Order. It's possible they could still fix it in a sequel if they could find a way to shift the Amulet's loyalty back to Jim somehow, but it's been almost 3 years and there's no word of any follow up, so not holding my breath.
