Coming to the party -way- late. But I'd like to make a suggestion for disabling powers: Limit Break. You can spend up to the 1/2 level PP limit on a given power activation. When you exceed that limit (by spending 1/2 level + 1 or more PP) you lose access to that power until you take a short rest. Keeps the "Burn out" narrative function and gives players a specific reason to do so: To pump 'too much' energy into a power they have a critical need for. Maybe give the limit break a Con save against their own save DC after it's resolved, with a penalty to the roll equal to the number of PP you spent above the limit, and gain a level of fatigue on a failure? To be clear, and put it in writing: I am offering you this idea/suggestion of my own free will and with neither expectation nor request of remuneration. Just one designer offering an idea to another. My Psionic class doesn't get Limit Breaks, even.

It looks like maybe the classic power spike of 5th level is here via Power Point injection. From a user perspective I think it might feel rough getting to level 5 when people are getting Extra Attack and 3rd level spells and mostly looking at more variety in what you can do. Superior mind feels like a bit of a ribbon here, but I do like it. I think Quick Mind could maybe be turned to a smaller more powerful paladin-like aura giving people within 10-15 ft. a bonus to initiative equal to spellcasting modifier. Although part of that is just I'm very bored of advantage disadvantage getting used everywhere. Back on Happy Fun Hour you had mentioned an idea of a dual (but limited) concentration which I think would be a VERY cool level 5 ability to give the class a very cool unique power spike.
