Honestly, I blame Ben for his relationship with Julie. First date, she found his transformations cool. Later, gets Ship, sometimes joins the team and understands when Ben is busy. Ben gets famous, it goes to his head, skips out on her finale match to see a movie and then goes "I don't have to take this" when Ship flies away and Julie's pissed when he doesn't help *talking about in-universe reasons, not behind the scenes
