Future Planning Anouncement

Hey y'all. Keeping everyone up to date with my thoughts and plans for the future.

First of all, I have the absolute pleasure of getting to say that I'm going to DragonCon for the first time this year! I'm not listed as an attending professional for this year, but I'll be applying for next year as soon as that opens. My publisher is going to have a booth, and I wouldn't be surprised if they want me to do some stuff there, so that would be the most reliable place for anyone who would be interested in meeting me to find me. I'll also be wandering the con itself so you could fund me there. I've been wanting to go to DragonCon for longer than I've been trying to be an author and I'm really excited.

For the future of my writing and putting out books, I have to say I'm not really happy with my schedule, specifically with the incredibly tight time period for getting an entire book on Royal Road before it comes down for Kindle Unlimited. Comparison ks thief of both joy and compassion, but I can't help be a little jealous of the authors that started publishing with more of a backlog on RR.

That being said, it's my problem and I have to solve it myself and that's where future planning comes in. Blood Shaper is *currently* set to end in Book 6. I'm not the kind of author that can keep a story going for hundreds and hundreds or thousands of chapters, all of mine are going to have defined end points. When Kay's story comes to an end (in written form, never in my heart) I'll be shifting things a little to buy myself some breathing room. Currently Blood Shaper is my main focus on a set release schedule for chapters and my patreon only series is on a "when I get time basis" but that's going to flip when August rolls around (based on current planning no definitives yet). The next series in the Shattered Five Saga will become my "side project" and the Triumvirate series will be moved to "main project" and get a defined schedule. (Also it turns out I've been spelling Triumvirate wrong)

Triumvirate will stay as a Patreon exclusive series and The Shattered Five Saga will still be posted on RR, and y'all will still get early access to those chapters. All of this is so I can build a backlog of posted chapters on RR while Triumvirate is the series actually being published. With three main characters having three books each, that gives me a little over a year to get stuff up on RR before I start having those published.

And that's really it. Let me know if you have any thoughts/comments/concerns/questions. I'll be hard at work making sure my production rate is consistent and the quality is still as good or better than its been so far. (Aiming for better, improvement is always the goal)
