Added 2023-09-11 11:00:06 +0000 UTCScott found himself in a tough spot, struggling to get Walden's attention amidst the vast patio table. Walden, his once-close buddy, now seemed like a towering giant. It hit Scott hard that he had somehow shrunk down to the size of a tiny flea.
Walden's colossal left hand rested heavily on the table, a constant reminder of the dire straits. Anxiety buzzed through Scott's nerves, but he refused to succumb to fear. He needed help, any kind of assistance, even from this colossal and seemingly oblivious figure.
As Scott called out to Walden, it was as if his pleas got lost in the wind. His voice barely reached the giant's ears, like a faint whisper. Walden remained unfazed by his friend's distress.
Faced with this seemingly unbeatable challenge, Scott knew he had to come up with a new plan, and he had to do it fast.
Scott figured his best shot was to reach for his phone, hoping that his tiny frame would catch Walden's attention.
It wasn't an easy task, but he managed to make his way there. Just as he got close to the home button, the phone suddenly vibrated. His heart raced with hope as the tiny Scott gazed upward while Walden glanced down at the notification, his face showing no change. Scott frantically waved his arms and yelled as loudly as his miniature voice allowed, feeling like he had finally caught Walden's eye as the giant's hand reached out toward the phone.
Regrettably, the little man misinterpreted Walden's outstretched hand for assistance, but it turned out Walden was simply reaching for the phone. The device tilted, leaving Scott gripping the edge of the button for dear life. He whimpered, struggling to hold on, terrified as Walden's massive thumb loomed over him, clearly intending to swipe the phone with it to unlock it.
As the giant's thumb descended, Scott's world grew darker.
