Announcement
Added 2024-05-07 06:51:40 +0000 UTCI have a big worry. I think I need a break from writing Homesteading in a fantasy world for a little while. The story just isn't flowing like I am used to and I don't know how to fix it. There might also be a bit of a block because the story is coming to an end. I have never liked when stories end even if I understand why it's needed. What do you think if I were to take a bit of a break from this story?
In other news, I will soonis be adding the second book of Dungeon Core to Amazon what do you think of the book name and cover?

Also change the title to "Rise of the fruit flies" xD (Seriously artwork is great and give of the feeling of vastness that ETG should have :) )

2024-05-08 16:51:43 +0000 UTCIs the plan to release an etg chapter every day for a week or so then ? 🤔 the front cover is cool feel like it needs a fruit fly somewhere on there tho 😅

2024-05-08 08:28:46 +0000 UTCI don't know about homesteading. The start is really rough and would need a lot of clean up. It would be doable but I will be honest I like the way it is. It's like my journey as well. Form the rough start to me getting more comfortable with writing speech and continuing to improve overall. I have thought about splitting the entire story into two books and making it extremely clear why the first half is so rough so I could preserve my journey, but I don't know if people would like it like that.

2024-05-08 06:06:26 +0000 UTCWith 400+ chapters from Homesteading, I already feel spoiled. There is plenty of content for me to go back and reread if I want more. It's not just that it's ending, but you went through a huge time skip too. Go at your pace, you do great work. Also, congratulations. I'm so happy to see your work available on Amazon. Any chance Homestead will be on there soon? I'd buy it.

2024-05-08 02:15:10 +0000 UTCI'm digging the cover, take all the time you need to! Your release schedule blows away most of the authors I follow so you've built up a lot of good will in my eyes.

2024-05-07 12:33:45 +0000 UTCIt's hard because you write stuff in ch50 and by ch500 it's like a set of handcuffs and you can't go back and start again I've read so many books where they are really specific early on and describe a planet then by later in the book we need 5 planets to tell a compelling story

2024-05-07 07:39:54 +0000 UTCUnderstandable I did a lot of beginner mistakes in how I world built and that unfortunately made it necessary to take this story in a way that it has been going. Now it's more like a traditional fantasy story and not a farming slice of Life it originally was.

2024-05-07 07:34:26 +0000 UTCYeh you know im all about etg , sadly I stopped reading homesteading around ch 300 was just getting a bit not what I originally liked about the story although once you finish it I will prob binge the second half til the end as its still well written

2024-05-07 07:28:48 +0000 UTCI am assuming you mean for dungeon core. Currently no. I really don't think a world map is that important but I think a map like the maps in huge malls of the dungeon so it would be nice to know what is on what floor would be useful.

2024-05-07 07:25:16 +0000 UTCCool pic , are there maps planned in the kindle release ? Better to pause a story for a while than write stuff that isn't up to your standard , ending a story is a real headache

2024-05-07 07:16:28 +0000 UTCYes! Please more focus on the dungeon book and less time on the homestead.
