Announcement

No chapter today, I am feeling like shit.

Also would like to know how you all would feel about more POV in, In Space With a Junkyard Ship that are not directly connected to the MC but would eventually be relevant or should we just wait until we reach those parts in the story.

Also what storyline would you be interested in, currently I have about 4-5 more books planned out, but I would love to hear some ideas to add to the current ones, or perhaps write even more books.

Now for the Instead of Becoming an Adventurer I Chose to Fish. It seems some of you like it, but would love some feedback. It will be pretty slice of life, but will have some fighting as well. It seems it will be a slow story. It's a nice counterbalance too.

What is not helping is me not having the time to write it that consistently, but during a good week, health-wise and time-wise, I would like to upload 2-3 chapters a week. The chapters are pretty chunky, so I hope that is fine.

It's a bit unfortunate that In Space With a Junkyard Ship wasn't as big of a success as I was hoping. That is why I am pushing to write a second story. It's the same way as I did during homesteading and dungeon core. :)

I have read many different novels over the years, and scifi is a hard genre to pull off. You succeeded and added litrpg fantasy elements to it. It's cohesive, it make sense, it widens as you read more. I think this story will age like fine wine. I recommend taking some more time with each chapter and making them longer. I would prefer a longer thought out chapter while you are healthy compared to short bits and POVs. It'll help you organize for other ideas you have as well. I find with simple stories, shorter chapters are better, complex and large stories require long chapters.

I agree with a lot of others, POVs are great as long as they follow some rules(these are mine but everyone is different) - Don't break up the action(ie don't insert one unrelated to the fight in the middle of a fight scene) - aren't in long arcs (ie one or 2 in a row, unless it's between books) - don't excessively retell parts of the story

Dude, you've hit a niche with your story. I believe that you'll naturally gain readers over time despite the lackluster release. I love this story and wholeheartedly hope it continues. Also the POV would be great as long as they're not to far off from being relevant. Thank you for writing.

I adore the Spaceship story! Sorry it’s not as popular because it’s so much fun, and actually very unique. I hope you find the balance that works best for you, but I truly hope you keep this world going. Any point of views you put in always add to the whole, so I trust your judgement.
