I know a lot of people dislike this show for its writing, which is fair, but what really upsets me is when they shit on the songs and you can just tell they've never bothered actually listening to them, bc they're all really great and catchy and all the singers do great performances. I really hate how quick they are to dismiss the hard work of so many people who made these songs what they are just bc hazbin is an easy target for mindless hate. that being said I'm so happy to find someone else who teared up during the pentius gets caught scene lmao I felt kinda silly for it but that whole scene got to me

Also, there are 'native' citizens of hell - like Charlie - who were born in hell and who generally live in the lower realms of the nine circles of hell, whereas souls from earth live exclusively on the top circle of hell and are not allowed in the other circles of hell. Hazbin Hotel takes place in the top layer of the nine circles of hell in one of the many cities/towns of the layer. Also the exterminations only occur on this top layer of hell, as the 'true' locals in the lower circles of hell are spared from the exterminations. There is sooo much lore in this universe that is covered in the comics, and Vivian Madrano's other show, "Helluva Boss" which also features many musical songs, also KESHA guest stars in one episode of Helluva Boss. 2024-11-26 11:55:29 +0000 UTCNot sure if anyone has said anything but in one of sir pentious attempted attacks on alastor he talks about how defeating alastor will make the vees recognise him but then hears vox (who I'm assuming he looks up to since he wants to join his team) calling him a failure and telling him to kill himself is most likely the reason he cried and it had me feeling upset for him.

However we do know that each Sinner has one part about them that they hated in life that still effects their Demon Form only AngelDusts has been revealed so far (that i can remember) and it is his feet. Random Fun Fact Alastor is a Deer Demon/Wendigo. Vox Died when TV was a Big Deal (Back when every house was able to get a tv easily) and he was a TV Exec (so thats him). Velvette is said to of died in the 2000s when Social Media hit its high (so thats her) and Valentino died when Porongraphy was a big thing (so thats him).

In beetlejuice he sings and speaks in a raspy smoaker voice for 2 hour shows 8 times a week. There is a video online of a camera showing the vocal folds it is quiet fascinating

Usually, a human's demon form is influenced by the human's soul, sins, crimes, dislikes and of course their death. Alstor died getting mistaken for a deer while in the forest so he has a deer like apperence. Husk reportedly hated cats when alive. Meanwhile Angel, I belive, was in the mafia while alive and has a spider-like appearance because of his "web" of crimes. (Basically its random. Though an X is usually placed where they got killed. For Alastor he got shot in the head and in his partial demon form in this episode you can see an X there

Lucifer is the deadly sin, Pride. Satan is the deadly sin, Wraith and rules that ring. They go into that lore in Helluva Boss, Viv's other project. Hazbin focuses on the sinners who can't leave Pride while Helluva focuses on the hellborn. Imps, hell hounds, and demon royalty. ***edit Fat nuggets is a hellborn creature. There are regular animals that are just born in hell. Like Keekee the Cat.

Here are some answers to some of your questions. - The pig, fat nugget isn’t a sinner, there are actually animals in hell. Hell consists of 7 rings (every ring represents one of the seven deadly sins) and in the ring of wrath you see more animals. Hazbin hotel takes place in the pride ring. - Lucifer is the sin of pride and rules that ring and the rest of hell. Satan rules the ring of wrath which is where you see alot of farm animals. - In the end of Vox and Alastors song you see the ring of pride (not hell in its entirety) you get to see more of hell and the hellborns in Helluva boss. - There actually isn’t a answer to what the eyes are yet but there is a lot of theory’s, and the eyes are only found in the pride ring. - Hellborns like Charlie can travel freely between the rings but sinners can only be in the pride ring.

2024-06-04 17:29:38 +0000 UTCAhh!! Loved your insights on the Vees business and your reaction to Sir Pentious w/ "It Starts With Sorry" I think that song is strangely underrated?? Small clarification, from how I understand, Lucifer is still The Devil, it's more of a title than a name I think? But Satan is not Lucifer nor The Devil. Someone correct me if I've misunderstood but this is how I think it was. And yes, a lot of the souls we see in Hazbin are Sinners/Sinner demons. Their appearances seem to stem from their previous life in some ways, like Alastor was a radio host when he was alive, and there's another detail about him I think I'll share at a later date unless someone else beats me to it (: There are cool little details about every character stemming from those characteristics, like Valentino is a moth demon, and Vox seems to brighten his screen whenever he tries to get Val's attention.
