But with Blue, they're really just making crude passes without pressing any physical boundaries. I think, in a musical context, it's enjoyable.

I get why it’s cut but I prefer this version, maybe because I listened to it first but I feel like it fits the musical’s tone. And while it’s comedic a tone, they do call a spade a spade and make it clear that this is rape.

Only buffoons act like this." That being said, it could be a LOT clearer in this message of mockery

2024-07-30 10:59:00 +0000 UTCHeathers is a late 80s teen flick. We had a few very dary heavy films and the goth horror, pushing the limit films. Blue was originally in the Broadway version. I feel it suits the male characters well in there character they would be like this. When it came to UK they felt that it wasn't right for UK market and we got your welcome. I always laugh at they curl up on your face and purr like kittens.

I totally get that this song makes people uncomfy but I will argue that's what's intended. This whole show is meant to showcase how screwed up teenagers, cliques and bullying can be. How all that negativity can effect even those with the best intentions, like Veronica. It really shines a focus on the hipocrasy of people judging/ making assumptions about other people and situations without having all the information. I do totally agree this song is about sleezy dudes being absolute creepy assholes but it's meant to make you hate them and it give fuel to things that happen later in the show. I will also say I appreciate this show addressing something like this because it does happen and most media would just ignore or gloss over it. Just thought I'd share my thoughts and some context, thank you for all the amazing content Casper. 🥰
