Yes there is an objectively best character, two actually and they aren't even main characters lol you have seen them but they haven't been named, derpy and dr whooves! But as far as main six Applejack is best girl and rainbow dash is my second favorite but only because of the development she gets letter on! <3

They somehow managed some lightning-in-a-bottle with this series, the spinoff series, the movies, specials, etc. The characters and world wind themselves straight into your heart and bring a smile long after you finish watching.

And that aint even to the mane six. in fact did you notice the fandom mascot in this episode? She is considered by many as the best character but that is their opinion and while a vast isn't the only one. Speaking of opinion (fact) the background music, that is thanks to William Anderson just like how amazing Danial Ingram was with the shows music Anderson was just as amazing with the sounds and background music. I myself am a metal head I love hard rocking sounds and in season 2 can't say the episode because of spoils you get a hard rocking metal sound and is so greatly placed. oh and fun fact captions are bad with MLP not as bad as youtube (they have a caption of a filly saying semen). as for what AJ was saying she said "Fuss Bucket". oh and that ghost story twi was telling, I have the headless horse in my ponyville for the mobile game but as for the actual show it is a STORY since twi did read it but as an actual character no but the show does have many great stories of such things later in the show. and to address another thing you brought up, Saddles. so as of right now humans do not exsist in equestria. they did in gen 1 and I believe gen 2 but gen 4 no. so the saddles are seen in season 1 as a fashion thing but later removed as it brought up issues as to why they'd have them. also totaly off kilter and going conspirracy theory here. saddles are a mass conspiracy to keep earth ... po.... crap everyone is leaving ok so moving on. yes I am stupid like ear criminally. I KNEW ponies where just baby equine till I watched G4 then I realized (after looking up horse/pony biology) baby ponies/horses are foal's then they grow into filly/colt and finaly mare and stallion.

Somehow, though, I did not understand how horse genders worked and wondered when my neighbor’s foal would “grow a penis” and become a stallion.

No spoilers ofc but we see them getting their adult life together over the course of the show, i mean pinkie has a job, rarity is already a business owner etc, i'd estimate they're a good 25, 26 years old :)

2025-08-25 06:11:03 +0000 UTCI'm only one person but as I've said before, I'd love if you did the full first 3 seasons. Like how Mortius told you V1-3 of RWBY is a story arc, MLP is kind of the same. The end of S3 was going to be the original ending for the show, but it was doing so well that they continued it for another 6. I really hope that you both keep enjoying it and get enough good feedback to warrant continuing it

2025-08-24 16:37:15 +0000 UTCAbout the animation, as far as I know MLP was animated with a method (I forget the exact name) that uses "puppet" rigs, like models that can be manipulated and have the face from a few reusable angles, so they're not actually redrawing every frame, just using the assets they already have!
