This was amazing to listen to, Im a far newer and younger fan compared to most others, but this show has meant so much to me and Im so glad that Restoration was able to bring a great conclusion to these wonderful characters.

2024-05-27 00:50:48 +0000 UTCEdit: I looked into the wikipedia page for RvB to double check something for this comment and noticed something. This is the first season of RvB that has only used 1 Halo game for filming since Season 2 which had the original Halo (Season 1 was the only other season besides these 2 to also have 1 game used). I think it's pretty on theme that this season was filmed in a game titled "Halo Infinite" (this was also the only one that had used Infinite, obviously due to all other seasons being released prior to that game), because with this being the most final finale the show has had, there's infinite possibilities for fans to imagine how the characters move on. It's not infinite possibilities for the story to go from, their story, all of their stories, feels complete, and I can hope for their paths to be infinitely happier. Really happy with all the nods to the other directors of RvB throughout Restoration. I noticed most of them, but it was good to hear about the moments that I didn't notice on first watch. My viewing got a bit de-synced with the commentary, but it felt good to hear Burnie's goodbye alongside Caboose and Grif's. The Reds and Blues might be going their separate ways again like post-Blood Gulch, they might recognize each other as friends/comrades/people who they care about like they did post S8/S10, they might have to say farewell to a leader like they did after the Chorus Trilogy, and they might have to accept the losses that they had along the way like they had to at the end of the Shisno Trilogy. It's sad to see them go... but it's also kind of beautiful too.

2024-05-15 17:06:23 +0000 UTCI kinda wish we saw a little more of Tucker. I know he was the Meta, but we didn't see much of his struggle to stay sane. It's also weird that he had no interactions with Washington. Those two are practically brothers. Just my two cents. Still loved the movie.

Also happy to hear you clearing up some stuff people have been wondering (read: presuming the worst in some cases) about. I'm happy to hear you're still good friends with Kathleen, Joel and Nico. Question: was the omission of Wyoming in Washington's vision of the dead freelancers a conscious decision? If so, why? Note: there is one wrench featured in the series! "Whenever SOMEONE makes fan fiction". someone, hm... 3) I remember cheering the first time I saw the warthog. 4) and I cheered just as hard again when tex got her black armor. 5) In my head cannon this is the real ending and zero/paradox was a simulation. 6) thank you burnie. For the years of memories and hopefully many more. I hope to see more creative work from you soon!
