Idk how many are like me but I tend to buy one month of a streaming service at a time and cancel it immediately in an effort to save money and then watch stuff on that service during that month. This release tactic forces me to buy two months of the service if I bought it based on that show. Happened to me with the latest season of curb (they released one episode a week and also had a mid season break), the last of us and more
