The Dresden Files changed all their book covers twice, once when they decided to switch to a generic male version of Harry on cover, when again when they briefly got a show. The original covers were tableaus that hinted at the main plot of the story. Loved the original covers and looking at them after reading the book and understanding what everything meant.
