Awww -- thank you so much, dear Ezra! I'm really, really happy you enjoyed this sequence and page so much! There's something I find really fun about writing and drawing Isaiah and Flores together. They're such a fun foil for one another, and their exchanges can sometimes surprise even me! LOL! I think it's fun that Flores is such a dominant top and that Deimos and Isaiah both comply with his brand of pushiness, but that when it's time, they can completely break down and be vulnerable with one another. In my mind, it makes these characters that much more relatable and endearing -- or at least, I'd like to think it does! HA HA HA! So much love to you! SMOOCHES! Thanks again so very much!! I've shown deep sadness before, like in Love Lost #1 with Cam over losing Locus, but I think this scene with Flores and Isaiah is somehow more "relatable". You're quite right that my characters typically converse and express their feelings and thoughts sexually, but every so often, this infusion of "real life" display of emotionality can be a cool counterpoint to that... and I think it serves to punctuate the sadness they both here in a way that is very noticeable... at least, that was my hope and goal! You really express the anguish and fear both men have over losing Deimos (even if it's temporary). I've always kind of believed that the characters in Class Comics express themselves through sex; it's a kind of conversation. Seeing Isaiah's hole so battered and sore says more than the dialogue does (although that's still great).
