I love him as if he were a real person... a companion that's been with me for nearly 20 years. That's pretty intense. And yet, he plays and owns the "fucktoy" role so well. That hasn't always been the case, but I think that getting to explore his early adventures and his "younger" years is allowing us to see this side of him and build up his complexity. I still feel a bit bad, though... but I only ever push him as far as I know he's willing to go. As always, I absolutely LOVE reading your thoughts and impressions, my dear Johnny! I love that you fill in details in your mind and that you see more dimensions of the story just from looking at the little details I've drawn on the page! And I think you've exemplified this push-and-pull perfectly here. Tons of detail, very elaborate.
