It's the week before the month of May, so we'd better update you all on what you can expect in that lovely month!
The Brythoniaid - those moustachioed Marvels, the Welsh - get another turn; this time for the kingdom of Gwynedd, that northerly kingdom that encompasses Mount Snowdon - the home of the dragons. Hence, their sigil is the dragon! Sadly, none of our dragons are digital miniatures... yet (except for Cadwaladr's dragon, but he's been done)... which leaves room for dragons in our future!
This month's battle host includes the following:
Shieldwall Urien, Teyrn of Môn on foot (spear / sword options)
Greatsword Urien, Teyrn of Môn on foot
Saethwr Urien, Teyrn of Môn on foot
Shieldwall Carys, Uchelwr of Arfon on foot
Saethwr Carys, Uchelwr of Arfon on foot
Helwr Carys, Uchelwr of Arfon on foot
Nerys, Abades of Penmôn on Foot
Urien's Guard, Teulu Unit (7x warriors)
Archers of Dyngonwy, Saethwr Unit (5x warriors)
Scouts of Dyngonwy, Helwr Unit (5x warriors)
Morcant's Brood, Marchomawr Cogwyfern Unit (3x warriors)
The observant among you will notice that there's no image of Nerys (yet) and two of the marchomawr cogwyfern are just cogwyfern in this image... but fear not! Next week we'll unveil Nerys and the other two wyvern riders.
The even more observant among you will notice that two of the teulu are repeated. That's because I memory-holed that the alternate warriors of the banner bearer and herald were actually sculpted traditionally back in the day and so they're not ready yet - I only realised today! I'm getting them sculpted properly this time around - they should be with us next week.
The loyalty reward for May, as you can see, is the quite amazing dyndraig warchief, Angedern, and his sorcerer bro Galon Garreg! These two truly are some of our best ever sculpts and I never get tired of looking at either of them...!
May's beast for the BEASTMASTER and SELL-SWORD tiers is yet to be unveiled. Let the moustachoied marvels have the limelight for now...!
