The Pearfect Storm, Chapter 6: Found

Chapter 6 of my 7th stuck story, The Pearfect Storm.

CHAPTER 6: FOUND

Having finished her cartoons and her ice cream, Julie finally got dressed in fresh pajamas and sat in front of her computer on her yoga ball.

There was significant squash as she sat on the ball. Lower than she’d intended, but it forced her to not slouch as she bounced.

With the power still out she tethered her laptop to her phone and sifted through her email and updated her managers to her power status.

BOOP

Julie noticed the notifications pop up on her phone.

A like, a follow, a message.

She didn’t recognize the user name, “babykangarootube” but the message said, “did your hurricane supplies survive the munchies?”

“How do you know I’m eating, phone!” Julie clicked over to the users profile to see various scenic hikes and kayaking and climbing, where were there mountains to climb in the city? And then a selfie of Joe at the top of a hill.

“Baby Kangaroo! Joey!” Julie bounced straight up to her feet and went over to the window.

Nothing but torrential rain, she was hoping she could see Joe through the window.

Julie paced to the kitchen and back with her phone, taking handfuls of chips from a bag on the counter that she didn’t even remember taking out of the pantry, was that before or after all the ice cream? Or during?

She wasn’t sure that responding with the incredible amount of food she’d eaten this morning was particularly flirtatious. On one side, she was glad she didn’t have to worry about her ice cream melting anymore, but on the other side she had just eaten her entire stockpile of ice cream that was supposed to last her three weeks!

And that doesn’t count the other miscellaneous snacks she consumed, including another bag of chips just now in the time it took her to decide how to respond to Joe’s message.

No, Joe didn’t want to hear about Julie eating nonstop, Julie waddled past the mirror and paused, looking herself over. These were new-ish pajamas and already the top and bottoms weren’t quite meeting anymore as her belly pressed out between them. She pressed in her fat and tried to find an angle in the mirror in which she wasn’t so enormous but there was no such angle. Before a negative thought could enter her mind a realization struck Julie.

“Joe contacted me.”

The thought immediately made her stand up straight, confident. Joe had seen her quite clearly on the fire escape, Joe had seen her get stuck in the window. Joe had seen her fat ass in wet shorts. And Joe had found her and messaged her.

“Well I don’t have to worry about my ice cream melting during the blackout anymore (because I ate all the ice cream)” Julie’s heart raced after she pressed send.

Her phone and laptop were in the red now. It was highly unlikely that she would get a response from Joe before the battery ran out. She also couldn’t be bothered to check her work email any longer.

She put the phone down on the desk and walked away, trying to keep her cool. The thrill of potential romance made Julie hungry. She decided it was time for brunch.

The thrill of potential romance made Joe overexcited and giddy. She decided it was time she learned how to do handstands.

The activity was just silly enough to keep her mind off of Julie and her dead phone battery and her dead laptop battery and this stupid power outage that had left her dangling after sending Julie a message.

As she tumbled over and over trying to balance herself against the wall she edited and re-edited her message in her mind.

Was it too casual? Here she was wondering if Julie was gay but she sent such a chill first message that even if she was gay maybe she wouldn’t get that Joe wanted to leap across to her fire escape and lick her and feed her and fuck her until she came and kept cumming and never stopped.

Joe tumbled over again.

She was glad she didn’t send anything that horny as a first message. Better Julie not pickup on the flirting straight away than get scared off by Joe’s eagerness.

Her feet tapped the wall to stay steady and upright. Not a bad handstand.

HUM

Joe fell over. The power was back!

She immediately plugged her phone and computer back in and reset her router.
