First up, I believe this month marks a year on Patreon for me, which has been quite a journey – thanks so much to all of you for joining me for it, and encouraging me to keep going. Fingers crossed for another content-packed year!
Now, with Halloween closing in, and Betrayal finishing, Tier 2’s moving into new territory next month – with Spoiled 2: A Christmas Kaiju Sequel! Starting November 7th (I think), this sees the return of Holly and her seasonal misadventures; bigger, badder and equally Christmassy. It’s another 6-parter, so I’ll speed up its release in December to get it all done in time for the holidays. For the top tiers, the complete ARC should be ready mid-November, and for everyone else can expect the full serial and eBook by Christmas.
After that, looking forward to 2023 already (it’s ludicrous how quickly time is flying by), we’ll dip back into the Nidings – I’m already partway through the first couple of chapters of Book 3, to drop in January. I’d hoped to get some out a bit sooner, but things have been a bit on top of me lately.
For Tier 1, Paradise Scaled is getting into its dramatic final stretches, and will also finish in time for the holidays. This one panned out a lot longer than I originally intended, so the summery vibes aren’t too in sync with the coming winter, but there you are! With that complete, we’ll see a new story coming in January. I’m deciding between Pop Rampage 2 and Sensus Supra 2 at the moment; if you have a preference, do let me know – I’m leaning towards Pop Rampage first, as the shorter option.
In book news: March of the Thundress came out this month as an eBook and in paperback; if you want to pick up an extra copy (or to share it around) it’s here. Betrayal will be out commercially on Halloween, and I’ve some great news to accompany it: the wonderful JackOfBullets is producing a luxuriously illustrated comic adapted from the book, also out tomorrow.

I have been trying to get there – if at all possible I'd like to put out a chapter in November and possibly one in December, but I'm afraid I've been a bit snowed under with work (book sales have been dropping in line with the financial crises so I'm having to do more freelance work to make up for it). I might still be able to do it, though!
