Speaking of the Gravitonium being alive and wanting stuff or not, we did have an after credit scene after 1x3, where after Franklin Hall fell in, we have a shot of a arm coming out of the gravitonium before going back in. So i feel that its save to say that I dont think the gravitonium wanted anything, or was alive before he fell in, but it is now after he fell in.
