Bry mentioned early on that he lives for Walt's approval, and the core show is best when they're feeding off of each other. Git Em is not funny at all, but he is the perfect muse for Bry's sense of humor. Jeff is the same to Walt, which is why ANSJS is arguably better than the core trio. It's like Delouise and Burt Reynolds on Carson. What's happening here is Sargel is giving Walt & Bry nothing. They barely talk, let alone tell jokes. It was inspiring when it was fresh, but it's old hat now.

I listen to this how you would listen to a bum talking to himself while you're sitting next to him waiting for your next stop. They are a text book example of, "Folie à Deux " (i.e Madness of Two) .

2019-07-25 01:46:21 +0000 UTCI've said all throughout this mini series that it's great that these two are happily enjoying living their weird and wonderful life. It's fantastic. I may not find their schtic entertaining but I do admire what they have as a couple. The content in this mini series, I'm sorry to say, has not been enjoyable for me. Unredacted this is certainly not. They're repeating the same stories we heard back on regular tesd. It's all the same nonsense on a different day. I'm afraid they're a one trick pony and we've seen the trick too many times now. I'll happily listen to the original overkill episode (you know, the one without teleaqua) but there's nothing new to make these episodes worthwhile... unless you like a stand up routine taken from a 5 year olds joke book. I love that the patreon content is trying new ideas. I hope they keep on experimenting... but I also hope this is the last time we hear from the vortex. I'd rather have the Laudando roasts back and no one wants that!
