2021-09-20 13:07:35 +0000 UTCI think it was either the original Mallrats or Chasing Amy disc commentary track, but the commentary was made specifically for a laser disc release and someone said “FUCK DVD!” So, when the DVD version of that movie was produced, they put that prerecorded track on there, but with an intro from Kevin apologizing for the “FUCK DVD” line, since it was clear the small disc format won that “war,” and blamed it on Affleck!

Laser discs didn’t have decades of being “the ONLY way to enjoy this at home or when you are in cars, etc” that the other media platforms did. Though it’d might not be a bad Patreon supporter gift as a gag ;)

It hits Tony when he realizes the guy is the ONLY guy at a poker game that isn’t unbelievably guffawing at Tony’s jokes!
