I really love this episode. Great music, and I really love hearing Walt and Sunday reminiscing. I can totally relate to Sunday Jeff when it comes to toy hunting and the addiction that comes with it. You guys reminded me of my buddies and I

Christopher Michaels

Haha I remember Walt telling that return story on SMod sooo many years ago

SuperDoom 1104

First, I listened to just the audio while running errands..laughted out loud. Then I went back and watched from the start - great little film with excellent inserts with the conversation. Awesome "then and now" shots, and as a former and current collector, I am right there with you all! One of our Toys R us is now an Urban Air kids party place. Mining memories - perfect wording Walt! Now I want Denny's!

Matthew Rothblatt

Really enjoyed this, it was really funny and entertaining. loved the old walk through videos

Robin maloney

These walks through the past are always entertaining. This is good content to continue.

Rob Norcott

Just great, hope u guys know that u offer great content for fans

Will Cook

Walt you got a home run here, keep it up!

Manfred

This was awesome. I could watch these every week

Josh Worley

Zachary Stewart

The memory lane stuff is great--thanks for putting this together!

Andrew Huff

Awesome episode guy's!

Iceland Dan

So great! Awesome show , could watch all day

Will Whitmore

This was incredible. The chemistry between Jeff and Walt is just magical!

Rick Dodson

KB toys was by far my favorite store as a kid never realized it was a discount toy store. I legitimately can't believe Suncoast still exists its so over priced idk who is buying anything there

Christian Highland

Such a great show. I'd love to see Sunday's current collection.

Damien

i loved kb toy stores as a kid

Matt Brooks

Really enjoyed this!!

Aaron Feuerstein

Loved this pod. I was a store manager at a K-B Toys. They aren't all discount/knockoff stores. We had two in my town and one was and the store I ran was all new merchandise. I was a toy collector and a video game nut at the time and it was a dream job (aside from working with the public). I related with this pod so much. Thanks for the amazing content.

Brett Miller

Loved this show! So fun to get some visuals to go along with the stories Walt and Sunday have told over the years. And the background music pairings are great. Reminds me of the early Smodcast episodes.

Angelo Ray

Love it. Memory lane !!!

Steve D.

I've heard some of the returns before and have found the stories very funny but to watch Sunday and walt talk about it is priceless!

Dan

KB toys was a great store everything just scattered around. An KB works was the outlet version of KB with even more madness throughout the store!! Great episode!

Joe silva

I’ve been through a toy hunt craze. It definitely can become who you are.

Jeffry Smith

This was excellent! I miss going to Kaybees.

Dakota Sabo

One of the best concepts yet

Timothy Forgach

More tales from behind the fake counter!!!!!

Joseph Bateman

This is the Best!! Soooooo freaking hilarious! Professional comedians aren't half as entertaining

Ed Hyde

This was amazing. The music cues were perfect. Love the Walt and Sunday Jeff road trip vibes. Felt like it was along for the ride with a couple friends.

BR4D

Two of Us as the intro music kicks ass

Kyle

My mom was a toy stalker in the mid 80’s. She traveled for work, and wanted to bring me back something when she was away. Action figures were like $3-$4. She ended up going store to store for discontinued Star Wars figures, G.I. Joe, Super Powers, etc. When she found the whole Thundercats line, she called up my aunt and said, “I’VE FOUND LION-O!”

Nick Adrian

Loved the show. My first job was at ToysRUs and we used to have peg combers come in on shipping day and try to get us to open new cases for them. We were instructed not to though. Funny thing was that a bunch of us employees also collected, so we’d just end up stashing what they wanted in the back room and buy it ourselves at the end of our shift. 🤷

Robert Neamtiu

Haven’t thought about KB Toys in 30 years. So curious as to what Part 2 is going to cover, pretty much ended on a nice note already.

Darryl Caudilla

Man, these are some of the coolest episodes! Where it’s just stories of old shit y’all used to do. It’s great to hear, really! Also, the music was good as hell in this episode lol

Diamond

I love it!

Jaime

Prison bread

Rick valerio

This might be the best Patreon video you guys have done. I want other people to join like Bryan and you guys can talk about different stuff you used to do.

Dan Kinem

Every time I walk past the sun coast store in Beavercreek (dayton, Ohio) I think of TESD

Anna Willis

Can't wait too see part 2

Paul Shoesmith

Lol that last line of the show... rofl

Phillip Lewis

5 left according to wikipedia.

Phillip Lewis

This was awesome!!! I loved every second of if! Pure TESD lore wrapped in 90s nostalgia porn! I would have driven to the Sun Coast in Monmouth Mall to purchase this on DVD for $29.99.

Jerrod Clark

By 2021 only 5 Suncoast Motion Picture Company stores remain in the chain. They are located in Beaumont, Texas, Eatontown, New Jersey, Omaha, Nebraska, Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Beavercreek, Ohio. The Ohio location is a combination FYE, Suncoast Store.[7]

Michelle Albertson

I visited Red Bank in 2018 with my family. We went to the Monmouth Mall and and I filmed inside of Suncoast until I was yelled at. I also saw Walt’s wife and daughters in the food court which was a very weird coincidence.

Robbie

We had KB in Rochester, NY, it was national and they all have the same red marker 😂

Robbie

If Suncoast had simply contacted the FBI, Walt probably would’ve been charged with fraud and TESD wouldn’t exist. This was the funniest thing ever. I’ve heard it told before, but somehow this was better than ever. Well done.

Robbie

Dude I love this!

Scott Adams

Walt and Sunday are a dynamic duo! I never get tired of hearing about the Suncoast returns, hilarious! These Patreon road trip videos are the best, the banter, revisiting Sunday's old hunting grounds, and seeing some of the OG Secret Stash video was so cool, this is the perfect way to close out SUNMAY. Can't wait for Part 2, please let this be an ongoing special 🙏 This has even inspired me to go and check out some of my old stomping grounds on my next day off

Haven Huge Fan

Now this? THIS IS PEAK PATREON CONTENT!!!! So much of the TESD lore that has been talked about over the years was dove into in this, one of my favorite things out of the entire Patreon run

Hank

I worked at KB toys back in 2008 and I was 18. Wish I still had some of those figures.

Tyson

Holy shit! I had no idea there was a standing Suncoast.

SpaceKyng

Beautiful, the epic journey of life! Inspiring, fun stuff. And now I know about Stark Raven (he does look cool)!

Ian Groovy

Love it! Hope the statute of limitations is up LOL

Andrew Markiewicz

Awesome show. Friendships and bonding over a lifetime of experiences. Classic TESD.

James Kurokawa

This is why I will always have a tesd subscription! Shows like this are pure joy!!

Kevin Conley

this was really funny i love it. keep up the good work guys

Mark Contreras

I love Walt saying, Not a chance I was giving you a discount haha

Jason Rand

It’s like a video revisit to the courtship of Jeff TESD episode a decade later, my face hurts from smiling🐜🐜🐜👍 (when SJ said “funk and standard used to be across the street” I really expected Walt to Shout “Fuck funk and standard”)

Matthew Smith

"Comic douche looking for toy douche" I cant express enough how much I love Sunday Jeff and Walt's interactions. The ANSJS is second to TESD proper for me.

John Rincon

This is seriously one of my favorite pieces of content on the TESD patreon. Hearing the stories about Sunday Jeff's toy addiction over the years, it was nice to have a visualization to go alongside the stories. There are only five Suncoast locations left in the US, and they're basically just FYE stores with a different name, at this point.

MPTest2

Great video. It managed to make me nostalgic for a hobby I don’t have, visiting shops I’ve never been to and hanging out with people I’ve never met in a country I don’t live in. This will definitely be a regular repeat watch, can’t wait for episode 2!

Adrian Moore

Absolutely outdone yourselves with this one! So well produced. Bravo Chuck and anyone else involved! Super excited for more. 🤘

Jonathan Bloodworth

great episode! I’m from San Diego and we had K&B toys here in the 90’s it was my favorite place to go as a kid

Sam Diaz

Epic, epic episode

Broonly1

This could be an "Ocean 11" type film.

Matthew Hogate

This was amazing!!!!

E Barry Parsons

That video was fantastic, and now after all the stories from tesd to get a visual. Thank you.

Jason Kivell

Brilliant! TESD projects are really all about friendship. This is a perfect example.

Daniel Campbell

Love the fact that this has been brought forth!!! Congrats on a very well made production. The old video and photo content is priceless. Sunday Jeff & Walt's commentary adds to the story of the Stash.

Recrat

In the late 90s early 00s these were all my same stops. I miss the brick and mortar stores.

Michael Smith

Walt and Jeff's Toytalks are my favorite thing. My fave episode in the past was Walt talking about his Suncoast days.

Matt Spence

absolutely fantastic. nothing but joy here. love it.

8bitj

I couldn't love this more.

Mike Peace

Eh. 0 memories there.

Josh Edwards

Interesting how they didn't visit the new Stash

Jamie Roelofs

This was so good. I loved the memories and anything of Jeff and Walt together is always great.

Renee Bekas

Great stuff! Looking forward to the Part 2!

Tim Hicks

Thomas Stark

I remember the Suncoast stuff being brought up in the old days of the pod. So awesome to see it re-hashed in such an awesome video. Yinz rock
