Realistically, I imagine this version is going to get more use than the original. Short of some truly satisfying conclusions, the other piece may simple be too impactful for use in the average game session. This more low-key version is far more appropriate for a variety of non-threatening situations: peaceful cities, places of worship, and divine planes far from fear.
I think the drama of the piece is still overtly evident, so you may want to use this for some profound and happy character moments. RPG campaigns are necessarily full of conflict, but there are brief windows where your players might end up having a great epiphany, or relishing in being the town saviors. This satisfying music is great for those moments!
