One of my favorite narrative tricks in longer campaigns is to include a small part of the adventure where the party just ends up going home. Not permanently, of course, but just to say hi to to any non-murdered family members, to explore their old environs, and to raise the stakes for why saving the world is so important. Of course, not every campaign has time to dip into such narrative treats, but when it is possible, it's a great way to remind the players that their characters probably have desires beyond "kill goblin, find +1 sword."

So here's "You're Home"! It's one of the most unambiguously peaceful and pleasant tracks I've written. Just a solo harp plucking through some major chords and languishing in the non-challenging melodies. This is sleepytime tea. This is a warm bed. This is nana's cookies. Play this when there's nothing wrong. Quest rewards, conversations with best buds, and short sojourns in nonthreatening forest glades.

Of course, you could also use this to lull the party into a false sense of comfort before a demon destroys the entire town, but of course I would never suggest something so diabolical...

Anyway, if you dig this track, go grab the solo piano version at the Artist tier and up!
