Demonic Combat

My players will often attempt to go the noncombat route whenever possible. Especially against humanoid enemies, it rarely seems like the best move to literally murder people when anyone has "Good" written down for their alleged alignment. That's why it's occasionally very satisfying to throw true embodiments of evil at them so that they get a total moral pass when it comes to engaging with D&D's combat mechanics. No one is going  to say "actually, let's just trying talking to this demon, cause he might be reasonable!" Nah, they're just going to slay him.

Hellish combatants deserve hellish music. "The Fiend Approaches" is music both for grand entrances of BBEGs and fights against truly wicked forces. There's definitely something epic here, but it's more of a "oh my God, these are literal creatures from the underworld" and less "Michael Bay action sequence." Giant war drums and strange gongs pair with massive trombone ensembles and overblown winds. Plus, a bit of sax sells the whole "sexy devil" aesthetic that I can never resist when crafting my own villains.

If your players decide that these demonic forces are simply to dangerous to engage, consider throwing on the variant which implies a bit of a stealthier approach. You can grab that and looping versions of both at the Artist Tier and up. Thanks y'all!
