Got a cool collab for all of you today! Here's a brand new adventure from my collaborator DMDave, one of the premier adventure writers for D&D 5e. He and his crew teamed up with Roll20 to release The Camp Clearwater Massacre, a throwback thriller adventure that shows off Roll20's dynamic lighting engine. Dave asked me to make some John Carpenter-esque music for the adventure, and I was more than happy to oblige. You an download the whole adventure (which features maps by Tom Cartos, magical items by The Griffon's Saddlebag, and minis by Paper Forge) below.
Also, Roll20 is making their dynamic lighting engine free through July 19, and you can play the Roll20 version of this adventure for FREE via this link.
My track for this collab has one very specific use: classic '80s slasher horror. If you've got some spooky supernatural villain killing teens in an American town, a domain of dread filled with campy violence, or just a horror adventures that's more over the top than brooding, then this track is perfect for frightful climaxes. It'll certainly work for combat, but those sorts of horror adventures are usually best when you aren't directly engaging the villain: if there's a big chase scene, a pile-up of accidents, or a last-ditch effort to thwart a villain's plans, this track is going to elevate those moments perfectly.
If you wanted a cheesy hard rock version of this track, you can get that as well as looping versions of both at the Artist Tier +. Thanks y'all!
