Dissonant Modern Orchestration

I love making music that people listen to. I spent years making tune after tune and playing gig after gig to tiny tiny audiences. It was fun, and I learned a lot, but I'm much happier now that (thanks to you!), I have a decent audience for my work. That said, during one of my bouts of having 0 fans, I decided "screw it, let's get a Masters" and proceeded to spend 2 years studying graduate music composition. Suffice it to say, the music I made there (while good, IMO!) was quite a bit less... accessible than most of the stuff I make now.

WELL THAT'S ABOUT TO CHANGE.

Yes, today I went back to my "academic music" roots and made some truly "contemporary" (i.e. akin to classical music in the 1950's) orchestral music. This rendition of "The Dee'p" leans way more toward the film music of early horror or the serial music of the Second Viennese School. Anyway that's not important. What is important is that this track is great for more classically scary horror scenes: haunted manors, secret serial killers, and more subdued treacherous dungeons. It's possible you'll barely recognize the underlying track here: the original "The Dee'p" is hidden behind layers of orchestral musings, but the source material is so warped, it does feel a bit like I've made 2 brand new tracks this week.

As always, I've attached looping versions of both tracks below. Enjoy!
