Geralt feels uncomfortable in Vizima Palace, Tormund sticks out like a sore thumb in Winterfell, and your murder hobo Khajit spamming dragon shouts in Dragonsreach is certainly... out of place. There's a certain ominous vibe that's appropriate when a man of the sword has to endure the ritual etiquette of fancy halls, and yet to broker peace, they are often called to do so.
This track, "In the Court of Anise and Lavender," sets the scene for your party's arrival in the hallowed halls of the King's keep. Is the Chief Minister planning to double cross you? Does the enemy secretly lie in wait beyond the castle walls? Are you being set up? Despite the luxurious experience afforded to you by your audience with the noble council, you know that this palace is home to a different sort of treachery than those you encounter in deep dungeons. Be ever vigilant!
