Tuesday Grab Bag: Track Requests, Album Release, Batbarian

Greetings patrons! Another big month here at Music d20. I released 8 tracks, which I think is tied for my most ever. Woo! Also, I totally blanked but September 19th was my one year anniversary! I probably should have done some celebratory post about it, but I was too busy making RPG music. To get a little cheesy, this Patreon has been nothing short of wonderful for me. It's creatively fulfilling, it's led to some very fruitful collaborations with other RPG creators, and it's given me an awesome way to work directly for you. This direct access to a fan base is what I've always wanted, and it's such a relief to be able to do this more or less full time.

Okay, cheese aside, it's the end of the month so please SEND IN TRACK REQUESTS. Generic September was (I think?) a rousing success. I'll be sure to include more generic tracks in the coming months, but I'm also happy to get weird with it. Feedback is always welcome, so let me know if I'm skewing too far in either direction.

Next: I already made a big post about it, but Music d20: Vol. 3 dropped a couple weeks ago! It's definitely the most diverse catalog of music of the three albums so far, so hopefully folks who are tired of standard fantasy fare might dig it as well. I know that the album releases are generally less exciting for y'all because... you already have the music. That said, it's a useful way to reach people who don't like accessing music via Patreon. 

Finally, I want to let you all know that a game I spent ages working on is coming out in a couple weeks! Batbarian: Testament of the Primordials is an enormous, gorgeous, hilarious pixel-art Metroidvania coming to PC and Switch on October 15th. It's an insanely good game, and I'm really hoping it's a huge success because the developers deserve it! The OST will be dropping that day as well, and it features over a half-hour of new music by yours truly, plus a bunch of great synthwave dungeons tracks from other fabulous composer. I don't own the rights to the music, so unfortunately, I can't give it to you via Patreon, but it'll be available everywhere you can listen to music, so it shouldn't be too hard to access. Please consider throwing it a wishlist on Steam!
