Eastern Ambience

Today, thanks to a collaboration with the PlayQuest podcast, I bring you "Ako," a sparse Japanese-inspired track to score your Bushidō adventure arcs. This track will be used to score plenty of moments in the upcoming season of PlayQuest, and the variant of this track (available at the Artist tier and up) will serve as their theme song! PlayQuest is a podcast that explores various different RPG systems, and their soon-to-be released arc "The Ako Incident" will be using the Tenra Bansho Zero "hyper-Asian" ruleset. I'm very excited to see all the ways that my new track will help score this new chapter!
I tried to be fairly strict with my use of East-Asian instruments and scales with this one, so while it may not be truly "authentic," it's sure to evoke a very specific sort of Eastern flavor. This track is perfect for quiet moments in far-off temples, sleepy steppe villages, or nighttime samurai encampments.
