Brooding Piano

I decide to (perhaps) take the obvious route and score it for solo piano, and guess what! It's... very moody. This piano version has all of the melodrama of the original with none of the scale and bombast.
Potential uses: first and foremost, this is great for the pre-boss battle "let me reveal my sinister plans" moment. It's also great for wicked kings / religious figures because it has that sort of royal flavor to it. One use I'd like to see is a party debating between two equally risky courses of action. One of those "who do we save?" moments that can create some great tension.
I would hazard against using this for garden variety "sad" moments, because the music is more conflicted than just being purely "sorrowful." And yeah, I know I need to write more genuinely sorrowful tunes. They're on the way!
As always, looping versions of both are provided below as well.
