Medieval Rock
Added 2020-11-11 15:04:48 +0000 UTCThose of you who play my music via mp3s might not realize that by far my most popular track on Spotify is "Shelter at Last," a sort of slow and meditative tavern tune. I guess it's popularity stems from the fact that it ends up on a lot of "medieval village" style playlists. It's pretty far from my favorite tune that I've written, but I think there's something to the simplicity!
Anyway, since certain folks seem to like it so much, I figured I'd whip out a second variant for it. This time it's a rock remix. I think this will find the most use in low-ish stakes combat, particularly in royal settings. Maybe you're sick of the standard war drum fight music for your knightly duel and would prefer something a bit more modern. This also has some pretty heavy "theme song" vibes, so maybe this is what you play when you're psyching your players up for the session.
In either case, looping versions of this new variant as well as my new track "To Long and to Lose" are provided below.
