Greetings, folks! Today I bring you a collaboration with Matt AKA The Goblin Explorer. Matt has been releasing an infinitely iterating dungeon via tiered maps, and I was happy to help with level 6, a lava-filled passageway rife with opportunity to shove some twisted duergar into a pit of molten rock.
My track to accompany this map is titlted "Scorchcleft," and it is without a doubt the most volcanic track I've released yet. Shimmering sitar resonances and thumping tabla evoke the melting fury of molten catacombs. I think the brass and distorted drums give this track enough edge to double as a standard combat track, but it'll find its most apt usage as intense dungeon delving music for your various fiery-themed quests: scorching desert sands, dwarven forges, volcanic tombs, etc.
I've got a less intense version of this track with a bit more of a neutral color palette available at the Artist tier and up, perfect for quieter dungeoneering. Additionally, if you want to grab some variants of this map (some gorgeous line art renditions, or options without pre-placed furnishings) you can grab those at Matt's Patreon!
Grab a torch, prepare your sword, The Goblin Explorer will bring you inside the darkest recesses of the Endless Dungeon. Every Tuesday a new battlemap, going forever deeper, fully detailed and ready to play featuring also full FoundryVTT support.
