You know, it's been a while since I've done a full-fledged one-on-one collab with my great friends Cze and Peku. I haven't mentioned it in a while, but it was Cze who first encouraged me to start Music d20, so you've got to give him a bunch of credit for this Patreon existing in the first place. This week, they bring us an awesome Oasis City map. So peaceful, so calm, a reprieve from the sandy waste. It would be a shame if some invading force decide to besiege it... but if they did, boy do I have the track for you.
My track "Defending Varsanspear" is the perfect track for those emotional battles that your party and their comrades can't afford to lose: a final duel against your sworn enemy, a last-ditch effort to save your hometown, or a race against the clock while you wait for reinforcements. This is the track you play when the stakes are higher than the average goblin skirmish. I feel like this sort of cinematic combat track works best when used sparingly. The melodrama is palpable, so make sure you don't waste it on a bar brawl.
