Ambient Aristocracy

Okay, but what happens when your party DOES go to the rich part of town? By mid-level gameplay, it's likely your party has amassed a miniature treasure horde that makes them wealthier than the vast majority of common folk they encounter. And when they do, in my experience, they tend to stick around for a while. After ages of dungeoneering, it can be incredibly satisfying to have a session where you just kind of walk around, buy some crap, and chat with folks about the latest rumors. When you do that, you might just want to loop some pleasant ambient music.
That's when you put on "The Auction House (Ambient)." It's got stately vibes, but really nothing distracting. Distant choirs, regal horns, and ethereal organs tell you everything you need to know about the setting: this is a place that is free from immediate danger. I think this is one that you can loop for a while without bothering anyone.
