"Ancora Bound" is my ideal "pirate adventure" music. Guitars, whistles, accordion, and tambourines call to mind an evening jam session with sailors grabbing whatever instruments they can. This track hits some high points, but it's certainly not combat music. Instead, I think this'll feel most at home during travel segments, or perhaps in coastal bars.
"Ancora Bound (Vocal)" on the other hand is a capital "S" Shanty. Please please please sing along with it. This is a tune of a sailor's love for the sea, and the many deaths that that love leads to. It feature vocals by my lovely wife Clare Grall, and I personally cannot stop listening to it. She also provided annotated lyrics to aid in your singalong! For the record, I do not recommend using tunes with lyrics during play sessions, but I do recommend using this this as your pirate adventure's theme song.
